Quran was brought down on the Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) by Allah (SWT). The Quran was revealed to the Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) in small parts and not at once. The intention and wisdom of Allah (SWT) behind it was to make the holy Prophet preach the teachings of Islam in small portions so that the believers and nonbelievers alike can understand and absorb it easily.
