Holy Quran is the greatest gift to mankind from Allah (SWT). Holy Quran was revealed on our beloved Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H). It is the 4th and the last sacred book revealed by Allah (SWT). Holy Quran is not just a book for spiritual guidance for human beings but it also offers a way of life for all the mankind till the day of judgement. Our beloved Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) stated in a Hadith:
“The best among you (Muslims) are those who learn the Quran and teach it (to others).” (Muslim)
Quran Memorization Tips and Techniques
Quran memorization is the best spiritual and physical journey for all Muslims. There are different ways Muslims can memorize Quran with clear understanding. Following are the few tips and techniques that can provide ease in memorizing the Holy Quran:
To start anything and to complete it is necessary for all the human beings is to have the intention and the will to do it. Because without intention or will no one can achieve the desired results. If a Muslim wants to memorize the Quran by heart it is necessary for him/her to have a pure intention to do it. One has to sincerely believe that Quran is the word of Allah (SWT) and He is the only one who can give you the power to overcome the obstacles to memorizing the Holy Quran by heart.
Taking time out to memorize Quran is really important. It is necessary for a Muslim to take time out of his/her daily routine and give time to reciting and memorizing Quran with all the attention and commitment. It is also necessary to figure out a time slot when you are most fresh and productive. The early morning time is considered most productive, it is the time of the day when there are no distractions and can help a Muslim recite and memorize the Quran with ease.
Adopt Positive Methods:
While memorizing Quran it is cautioned for all Muslims not to be in a hurry. It is advisable to start from memorizing short Surah and move to the long Surahs gradually. It is also necessary that one must be consistent while memorizing the Quran.
