Purity of the body, mind and soul is really important in the Islamic religion. The purification the body, mind and soul not only brings us closer to Allah (SWT) but it is a basic part of our faith. Allah (SWT) says in the Quran:

O you who have believed, when you rise to [perform] prayer, wash your faces and your forearms to the elbows and wipe over your heads and wash your feet to the ankles. (Al-Maidah)

Our beloved Prophet (P.B.U.H) has recommended to perform ablution (Wadu) before going to bed. On the other hand yoga experts also encourage to wash ones arms, face, eyes, legs, mouth and genitals before going to bed for deep sleep.
